Condor aerotow simulation accuracy - rudder seems hardly necessary
In addition to lots of real-world lessons, I wanted to try using Condor 2 or 3 for practicing aerotow in between.
In an actual K21, I really noticed if I don't use the rudder pedals - the nose waves around all over the place. (Familiar story, I'm sure, for other beginners.)
However, in both Condor 2 and 3 I've noticed I can happily sit there following the tug pretty much perfectly, even though I've bought the K21 model.
I appreciate this isn't necessarily meant to be precise, but it's not a help if the rudder is completely unnecessary in the simulation - can anyone recommend a way to improve this please?

Maybe disable auto rudder ..

I just double checked this - and it feels the same. When off the aerotow, the adverse yaw is noticeable, and obviously need the rudder.
But on the aerotow, I can keep my feet off the pedals and follow the tug in a bank with barely any adverse yaw visible, whereas in reality the K21 seems much more sensitive to that during aerotow.

Maybe you are using the center / winch hook IRL? Because with a nose hook, I dont see why you would ever need a lot of rudder on tow, as the tow plane just pulls the glider straight.

You need rudder on tow in RL with a nose hook.

This depends upon the type of glider, and also how far out of position you are. For small adjustments rudder is not usually needed.

Last two gliding days have been focused on learning to aerotow. My rudder skills (such as they are) got a workout! Grob Twin Astir 103.

I appreciate it depends on those things. My issue is that in the same glider in Condor (a K21), it doesn't seem to match up at all. This is disappointing as I thought it would behave at least somewhat similarly. At the very least I'd like to find a type of glider within Condor that does need rudder to properly follow the tug.
