PTT not working

I have assigned the PTT to the space bar and it does not work (radio xmit light doesn't come on). Tried switching to a button on the joy stick but still no PTT. Radio channel up and down work fine. Suggestions?

Is this in Free Flight or Multiplayer?

both, i believe. Is it not supposed to work in single flight mode? I tried assigning PTT to another key but no joy. I made sure the sound in and out is set the same as the PC. Any suggestions for debugging this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Did you select a microphone in the sound menu?

There is also no xmit light on the radio instrument itself. It is on the right side of your screen.

The indicator is absolutely tiny on a high res monitor, I didnt notice it for the longest time:



And it will only work in multiplayer.

Oh! I may have missed that tiny red dot. I was looking at the radio itself. Might be a good idea to move it there?

Just checked and the red mic icon does appear in the upper right corner. Thanks for pointing it out.

FYI, it only appears in multiplayer mode. Also, I have three monitors, and it appears in the center monitor.

You need to check for a blue speaker icon as well. It appears below the red mic icon when your voice is detected. But if the server opens a port only for the flight data without a voice channels, or your PC mic won't work well, you can see only a red mic icon, but not a blue speaker icon.
