Re: LX9070
I like the LX9070 for lots of reasons but I'm having a couple things that aren't working.
In either a regular task or AAT I am not getting information in the following windows: STF (MC), Req Speed, ReqE, or TskLD.
I do have an MC set.
Thanks
Curtis

In case it helps others. I had to update my own version of LXSim and LXStyler to the latest versions and also ensure my profiles were configured for the LX9070 and saved before I could see the profile files on the virtual SD Card in Condor 3.

Re: LX9070
It seems impossible to enter Task options
using only LX Stick inputs from the cockpit,
can someone confirm ?
Thanks
(full screen option, it seems mandatory to Alt-tab
and click option with the mouse)

Re: LX9070
Hello,
I have a question regarding the vario indicator on the LX9070. I don't see the Hawk and Vario needles displayed on the LX, either on the onboard screen or an external one. However, they do appear on the V8. Is this normal, and if not, how can I get them to display on the LX9070 as well?
Thank you for your responses,
Hubert

Hi,
can we have a request for more keybinds to control LX? There are some pages that you can't select without mouse on pop-up window, which is inconvenient.
Thanks

Re: LX9070
Navigation question.
I have a three Data boxes set, Distance to Target, Groundspeed and ETE.
I am seeing 14nm to go, 120kts ground speed and then shouldn't I see 7min? I'm seeing much longer times.
Is my math wrong?
Thanks
Curtis

Re: LX9070
You think ETE is TTG (Time To Go).
ETE is Estimated Time En route and assumes glide at the current MC speed in still air and climbing with the MC climb rate. So if you set MC to 0...

Re: LX9070
Right, you get dashes for the time at MC0. As MC is increased the required speed to fly is obviously faster hence the time gets lower.
I'm a full scale Charter/Air Ambulance pilot and of course we don't have MC so you're exactly right in my thinking.
Thanks!!

Re: LX9070
In case it helps others. I found a solution for fixing the reported bug. My guess is, that something with the lx path configuration (registry, appdata, or anywhere else) was corrupt.Hires3000 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 6:25 pm...
Currently i'm trying all the new features and had some problems with custom lx profiles and can not find any solution.
When i active any additional profile, the LXSim is switching back to the default instantly after leaving the profile submenu. I tried the profile i'm using in RL as well as reloading the exported default profile in the sim.
The LX log file (Condor3/LXSim/app.log) is showing following:
[ 20241105.17:04:29 ] ++++++++
[ 20241105.17:04:29 ] ...
[ 20241105.17:04:31 ] Loading profile: default.xml
[ 20241105.17:04:31 ] System operational, entering main loop.
[ 20241105.17:04:37 ] CMapFileStream::CMapFileStream: FAILED TO OPEN file profiles/lx9070p/E:/Condor3/LXSim/sdcard/myprofile.lxprofile. Errno=2
[ 20241105.17:05:07 ] CMapFileStream::CMapFileStream: FAILED TO OPEN file profiles/lx9070p/E:/Condor3/LXSim/sdcard/myprofile.lxprofile. Errno=9
Steps to fix:
1) Download the lxsim from lxnav
2) Install it in the ./Condor3/LXSim folder (overwrite)
-> LXSim functionality is broken now in condor
3) Reinstall Condor3 (in the same folder as before)
The LXSim in condor is working now and and custom profile can be loaded

Re: LX9070
Gone through the LX and a very clever piece of kit indeed!
Setup my profile and adjusted and tweaked.
Only problem I have now is upon starting flight the LX appears but stays in setup mode in the glider.
Any suggestions please

It remembers the last used page when it shuts down. Did you try navigating to the TSK page using NUM7 or NUM9?
