I'm not sure about this. After creating several gliders, my Condor LX at start loads the last LX used glider, no matter the glider selected in Condor to fly.
You also have to ensure lxsim is not already running. I noticed lxsim is not always closed by condor upon ending the flight and condor might then spawn another lxsim instance but appears to connect to the "old" one. When a third lxsim instance is spawned, condor doesnt connect at all and shows a black PDA and hangs on exit. I reported this in bug thread,

C3, wow!

Quick LX observations;

1) Despite having 'both' (average & current) winds selected for plane symbol I only see light grey 'current wind' in flight.

2) Selecting thermal screen to toggle with 'Sc' does not seem to work for me and also the setting appears to revert back to 'turning'

Are these bugs or user error?

Thanks

I think both of these have not been implemented yet. About 95% is working right now.

I know HAWK wind and the AHRS are not working yet. SC toggle may not be sent by Condor to LXSim, maybe Tomaz can add that to the list.

Thanks KOE, makes sense. Look forward to additional intergration in the future.

First of all i want the thank the condor devs for the great new sim. It's fun as hell :)

Currently i'm trying all the new features and had some problems with custom lx profiles and can not find any solution.

When i active any additional profile, the LXSim is switching back to the default instantly after leaving the profile submenu. I tried the profile i'm using in RL as well as reloading the exported default profile in the sim.

The LX log file (Condor3/LXSim/app.log) is showing following:

[ 20241105.17:04:29 ] ++++++++
[ 20241105.17:04:29 ] Started logging LXSim(PC) v9.20c-0 (Build: Oct 25 2024 13:45:55)

[ 20241105.17:05:07 ] CMapFileStream::CMapFileStream: FAILED TO OPEN file profiles/lx9070p/E:/Condor3/LXSim/sdcard/myprofile.lxprofile. Errno=9

About the pc:
- 10700k / 3070
- Before installing condor3 -> condor2, lxsim, lxstyler where already installed on the same machine

Any help is appreciated

For the purposes of the game, Condor does everything automatically for you; selects correct airplane, sets polar, speeds, flaps etc. You don't have to change anything regarding airplane configuration inside LXSim.
What about task configuration? Should I learn to do something important manually (I mean for a particular task, not the more "general" settings like safety margins, MC offset, etc.)

My confusion at the moment related to start opening. When I fly solo, LX works as expected — start is possible in LX exactly when it's possible in Condor. But during my first multiplayer sessions with C3 I realized that start is already open in LX though race isn't on yet in Condor (i.e. on the server). I guess the reason is that the exact time of race start is actually not pre-determined in multiplayer (may be adjusted by the host), but LX reads it at launch and doesn't update later. Am I right, or is there some setting that I'm missing?

I think the LX knows when the line opens. But regardless, the procedure is the same, LX will register a start when you cross the line but does not "apply" it yet (and start navigating to the first TP), until you confirm it with ok, or open the quick menu and select start (by memory, pressing the 5 button twice). You can do this at any moment after starting, it will look for the most recent start window crossing and use that as start. Likewise, you can also select restart in LX to " cancel" your start and make it navigate back to the start.

Firstly, great job Condor team on a fantastic upgrade. As a real life glider pilot, two things are massive improvements, the weather and the glider handling. The overdevelopment clouds and the lift distribution under them is so real! Also the glider now handle so much more like a real glider, so very well done!

I love the LX integration as I have LX9070 in my glider and can test fly my actual profile, awesome.

A quick question about the LXSim; In the glider I create a task and save it, the LX says it is saved, and I can see it for the duration of that flight, but after i quit Condoer I can't find the task anywhere in the LXSim folder, also the task is not there when i fly again with the same LX profile. Is the task actually saved or is it just cosmetic? I'm asking because i want to fly real world tasks using real world cup files, which Condor don't support.

Thanks and great job again.

Condor sents the flightplanner task to the LX9070 when it launches. So it overwrites the task that was declared previously.

Have you tried putting your cup file in Condor3/LXSim/SDCard?

The whole task & options are automatically synced and set from Condor task editor on the start of each flight. Also cup & cub files sync based on current landscape that player is using, so there are always latest airspaces & waypoints. We tried to automate most of the things, so it doesn't become tedious for the players to tinker with the settings after each flight where he maybe switched landscape & glider each time. Also the whole glider configuration is done for you.

I guess Condor could add sometime in the future check-boxes of things that automatically transfer over. That way player could set those things that wouldn't get overwritten on the start of flight.

I saw in lxstyler that there is a 3d map option:
Image

I cant get it to actually work though, it just shows a black screen in condor; is this not implemented, or do I need to install something extra on lx?

Hi, is it possible to switch to LX panel (window) and NOT LOSE CONTROL over glider? In multiplayer (on autopilot) it is easy - not in solo mode.
BTW - could we have autopilot also in solo mode?
Thanks

It requires artificial horizon, which has not been implemented yet.
