Has anyone figured out the connection between the LX90xx and Condor2?

I'm trying in vain to connect the LX9050 and Condor2.
I have the cable connection:

LX9050-DSUB15...........RS232-DSUB9
3 (TXD).....................2 (RXD)
11 (RXD).....................3 (TXD)
1,2,9,10 (GND)............5 (GND)

My PC port is set to 9600/8 data bit/parity none/Stop bit 1

If I enable the NMEA output the data is received on the PC.

I turn off the NMEA output and enter the password 55556, set the output rate on the LX9050 to 9600
The only result is that the LX9050 info screen shows EXT: no data/0 , see attachment
It's like the data from Condor2 is not getting to the LX9050.
However, on the oscilloscope that is hung on pin 11 of the LX9050 I can see that data is coming in.
The signal voltage levels are -6.6 and +6.5
