New Plane Activation Problem

I have purchased a new plane and downloaded it. It is a zip file, but I cannot open it with my normal unzip program. Instead, it wants me to use NSH Software's Express Zip File Compression Plus, which would cost me more than the new plane. Is there a way to unzip the file without purchasing the NSH software?

you don't get or need a zip file for a new Condor plane, but an activation key. Are you sure you are in the right forum?

Thanks for the reply. I am in the General Forum, which seems right to me. I have an Activation Key, but the new plane is not in my Hangar and Condor's email says that I need to Update Hanger, which is where it fails.

Where did you purchase it : official condorsoaring.com website or a third-party reseller ?

Then you dont need to download anything. All you need is a license key for the plane you have bought.

Of course the right forum, I thought another sim than Condor ...

If I remember right the last new buyable plane was the LS3a, and that is a long time ago, so I guess you use a very old Condor installation. Update to the newest version 2.2.0 and you will see all planes, then you can activate without the zip file

chose plane class "All" and you will find the Arcus

Arcus is in the 20meterMS class. It can also be flown in "all" or "open" class. It is the first dropdown menu to the left of the one you have opened in your screenshot
