Elevator issue at AA2

Hi guys,
weird thing happened to me in last weeks ..... one day I found, that when I enter any task on AA2 landscape, my elevator does not work, no matter which plane, no matter if elevator defined on joystick axe or keyboard. So I was not able to fly any task on that landscape. Other landscapes were OK.

I spent 3 weeks with solving this issue, including complete Condor 2 reinstall, I tried everything imaginable, and nothing helped until finally deleting and redownloading AA2 landscape. WHAT ??? !!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? How can landscape affect plane's elevator behavior???

I suspect AA2 update from 0.9 to 0.10 version, which I remember took place sometime in past weeks, cause I am not aware of any other changes on my Condor simulator in that time. Anyway, redownload of AA2 helped, but I can wrap my head around how this could happen
Does anybody have an explanation??

You have had a modified landscape. There are two hash files, one for terrain and one for forest. If the hash values doesn't match with the installed landscape you get exact this behavior. It is used to prevent cheating.

After the new installation the hash values matched the landscape and the problem was solved.

One suggestion:
Before re-installing Condor, do some search on this forum.
The search engine works fine, searching for "elevator" returns many relevant posts

Ahh ... I see ... many thanks for the clarification .... I didn't think to try to look it up, as I didn't expect that it was a known thing and that Condor has similar anti-chat protection, I thought it was a bug .
