ASW 24? I'm not so familiar in this "modern" stuff ;-)

Looks good nevertheless

- There will be one new plane added to the ones included free with Condor.

I only suggest a better STD class glider and the EB as even with handicap in play the Genesis rarely does well in a STD class task.
This oke?
Looking good 8)

2018 - Silver Badge complete - Forgot I could claim for the 100km diploma flying an out and return
2019 - Get up to speed and aim for a 300km task?! maybe.....

Unsure if this has been mentioned before.

As VR is becoming more popular when flying a Non PDA task it'd be useful to be able to bring up a map of the task.

Unsure on the best way to go about this. Small map of the complete task on the PDA would probably be too small.

How about on pressing an assigned key a map that the user has created themselves appears on the screen?
I have already written about that. I suggest a pda with map and task only. Possibility to enlarge or shrink the map as usual. Keys 1,2,3,4 to push the map N, E, W and S and a possibility to center on each TP successively.
About PDA possibilities I would find very good to have the possibility to display or hide all other gliders (except mine) during a competition because they too often hide the map !

My Condor only shows "com3", which is a usb-port. Is it possible to make a virtual port for Condor?

Skin friction drag with both laminar and turbulent boundary layers.

Optional turbulators.

Bugs. Randomized per flight.

I don't know what of this is already simulated. But yes. These challenges would be nice to face.

I haven't read all 30 pages of this thread, and I therefore don't know if it has been suggested before so I am just adding my 'nice to have' and that would be to be able to save presets for glider configurations, particularly if you fly the same glider most of the time. Would be nice not have to load water and adjust the CG every time. Just because I am lazy and generally racing the join time clock.
Looking forward to C3 though.
Cheers

No need to read the 30 pages, the search function works quite well on this forum
It has been already discussed (last year), see for example here :

then you solv one problem with another one. On tasks with limited weight (FAI f.x.) you will start with to much ballast if you forget to modify. Better if you can safe the actual setup for the next flight for each plane. That can happen automatically, so you start each plane with the last used setup
What is wrong with having it being default empty? That is also how you find the plane in hangar/trailer in real life. The advantage of Condor is not having to drag around 8 canisters of water. . I know that we almost always fly full ballast, but I understand the developers choice of having it empty by default.

This is once again one of those areas where the "purpose" of Condor is very important. When you say "I know that we almost always fly full ballast" - I think what you mean is something along the lines of "Those of use flying in Condor competitions always use ballast". Remember that there is an entire subset of the Condor user base that use Condor for training / instruction. Also, here in the US, there are many real life contest and entire clubs where ballast is not allowed.
I also support the option to have empty ballast at startup, it's not that complicated to go through a pre-flight check-list (much shorter than IRL actually: PDA map, water&fixed ballast, CoG) and while you are at it, take a look at the task description in the flight planner, some tasksetters like to add glider type restrictions, which sadly get ignored by some pilots

I'm sure that if there is an option for someone like me to save a configuration, it will in no way impede the ability of others to not use said saved configurations.

More options are, generally speaking, better.

More realistic air between thermals. It appears to just be sink whereas in RL it's a mixture with energy lines even in the blue.
