+ i really think that having condor on steam would help it... as far as i know devs can still sell a non steam version for DLCs that take over from condor 2 u guys could just make a login so the launcher itself checks for bought planes (or check with steam that u can provide owners that want to play on steam a steam DLC key
for compeditions the "game" could have a rating system in multiplayer so ppl that crash into others get penalty points while save pilots get points and tasksetters/serverhosters can set a point margin to enter

(crashing with ground should not affect the points) (since with steam there might also come ppl that do that)
while a soaring sim is niche it still could get a couple 100-1000 sales over steam,
maybe introduce hanggliders as an addition

and maybe get in some fun historic stuff like otto lilienthals "normalsegelapparat"
