Re: Condor 3 feature requests
With the lack of global scenery, the ability to fly from one installed scenery to the other, provided they do overlap, would be nice.
Re: Condor 3 feature requests
It would be nice to be able to configure the Vario, and Speed command parameters. For example, having the netto on the pointer in SC and a dead band on the audio.
Another improvement would be a better navigation system, with more data like GS and TAS (especially because of the unreal fluttering speed), reporting obstacles in final glide, disable other plane icons in the map (sometimes it is so cluttered that the map is useless), required L/D, ecc.
Also the configuration of some gliders can be improved, especially for the flapped gliders the trim is totally unrealistic. For example, the Ventus has the trim connected to the flap, so the trim is a set and forget thing, whereas in Condor you have to adjust the trim for every speed. Also for the ASG29 the trim is hardly ever used in flight if you have the CG in the best position reported in the manual but in Condor you have to adjust it continuously.

This is already in Condor. Right control is the default key
Not true. I fly the ASG29Es, and it does require trimming between thermal and cruise settings. Also the configuration of some gliders can be improved, especially for the flapped gliders the trim is totally unrealistic. Re: Condor 3 feature requests
In real life trim is there to counter for stickforces. You can only recreate that with Force FeedBack Stickbases. There are hardly any FFB stickbases.
In general stickbases are centering stickbases and almost all sims are programmed to be able to use those sticks.
Maybe in the near future there will be more affordable FFB options available...

Snowy weather/scenery when flying in winter.
(maybe as option in weather settings if a date in winter is selected in flight planner)
I think it would be nice to be able to do some flights above a winter wonder land with the Stemme or a glider in wave.

Re: Condor 3 feature requests
Snowy scenery could be done now if the texture tiles from winter are available for a given area for scenery creators to use.
2018 - Silver Badge complete - Forgot I could claim for the 100km diploma flying an out and return
2019 - Get up to speed and aim for a 300km task?! maybe.....
Re: Condor 3 feature requests
Where are the settings of the vario/SC? I can only find the switch from vario to speed command, but not the setting of what the pointer and audio can indicate. I would have the netto un the pointer because the default is SC and you already have the SC on the up/down arrows on the right so exactly the same indication. The netto is only the number in the middle and I think the average netto should be there. I would also have a dead band in the audio when you are flying at the correct speed.wickid wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 11:47 amThis is already in Condor. Right control is the default key

Regarding the ASG29 I also own and fly it and, if you have the CG at the suggested position (more or less at the 80% of the allowed range), you don't have to use the trim. If you have the CG more in front you need to use the trim. If you don't believe me look also at the videos on youtube, for example the videos of Stefan Langer, he never uses the trim during normal flight.

I would like to have a better modelled Cirrus since the one there is now sucks on the outside.

All planes are being improved for V3. Tell us now if theres something specific you want done.

A Aresti Card holder with the option to use it in the acro gliders like the Pilatus B4 would be nice.
With an upload feature for own acro programs in the NOTAM register tab this extension would be wonderful.

I would name the panel of the Cirrus.OXO wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 9:11 amGlidingNico(NBE) wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 5:11 pmI would like to have a better modelled Cirrus since the one there is now sucks on the outside.

My club has a Cirrus but the panel is much smaller.

Re: Condor 3 feature requests
I'm not at all a specialist of the Cirrus, but there has been over 800 of them built, about 700 of them being standard versions, so I would imagine there has been a few variants of the cockpit through the ages (not to mention the countless ones modified by their owners which yours and/or the one used as an example for condor might be part of).JShieck wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 3:46 pmI would name the panel of the Cirrus.OXO wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 9:11 amGlidingNico(NBE) wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 5:11 pmI would like to have a better modelled Cirrus since the one there is now sucks on the outside.

Re: Condor 3 feature requests
Correct.. Google "Standard Cirrus cockpit" and see the images. There are many variations. I'm not inclined to make a change.

Re: Condor 3 feature requests
I really like the trim settings in Condor2 aircraft, thanks for doing a great job Condor team.
I can adjust trim in most gliders for hands off flight, in any plane, for almost any speed,
even better than RL, and that's a bonus in the simulator to reduce workload on the sim
pilot and make life a lot easier for us all.
There are other sims I've played over the years where a very loud minority of "realists" have
negatively impacted on the online playability of those simulators, and made it too much work
for the casual player, and those sims are now dead or almost dead. The absolute realists got their
wish. Also, in one of those games, there were arguments about the authenticity of the tire tread
of some of the ground vehicles, and this type of detail is ridiculous and never seen by the sim pilot,
only good for a static screenshot, so don't waste resources on useless bling please.
There has to be a balance or at least options to suit the recreational flyer and the devoted realists,
I believe Condor has struck that balance well so far. Not to say there is no room for improvement,
but Condor is awesome already.
Ask yourself what is best in Condor compared to other sims, and the answer is the flight dynamics
and interaction with the weather. Stick with your strong advantages.
Oh, and flying with friends is fun, we can't foget that !
