All I ask is that we do not have any nonsense about release dates.

I'll just wildly speculate here that Asobo/Microsoft have found an external partner to help them bring gliding into MSFS (this is confirmed) because they lack the significant expertise to do it properly. Meanwhile, the Condor team have the required expertise to provide a realistic gliding experience but lack the resources to be able to do something visually on par with MSFS.

Condor 3 will therefore be an add-on / update pack for MSFS 2020...

You could have given it a little bit longer, that was a really solid attempt at starting an internet rumour!

Actually, what I've seen of MSFS 2020 so far is whilst it continues to look amazing, and they are talking good talk about atmospheric simulations, I have experienced nothing in the software that suggests anything like a real thermal.

Hi,

I have created a set of lessons for Flight School, covering the full pre-solo syllabus, available free of charge at www.glidingschool.com. These lessons can be seen online, but even better, they are available to view and practise in Flight School.

My obvious question is whether Flight School lessons will be transferable to Condor 3?

For anyone who doesn't know, they are made up of htm and text files for the descriptive elements, jpg files for the illustrations and rpy (replay) files for the demonstration, and I assume the rpy is used somehow to create the start point for the Try Lesson.
Visit https://glidingschool.com for free gliding lessons, online and in Condor's Flight School

https://www.thermalmap.info/index.php

however this couldt be an additional tool to validate the new wheather model and thermal maps within C3.
For RL it is a very exciting project

greetings
