Dear all,
I am task-setting with penalty zones. Could somebody teach me how to adjust penalty zone precisely?
I want to transfer real restricted area into Condor.
So far, I found following parameter for penalty zone in a flight plan file.
PZPos0X0=94722.71875
PZPos0Y0=40936
PZPos1X0=97602.71875
PZPos1Y0=53806
PZPos2X0=83832.71875
PZPos2Y0=58396
PZPos3X0=71502.71875
PZPos3Y0=55786
PZBase0=1000
PZTop0=10000
PZPenaltyTimeFactor0=33
How can I calculate coordinates for this task file?

Re: Adjusting Penalty Zone
The difficult part is that all penalty zones have to be four sided. So you have to somehow spilt real life airspace etc into four sided shapes.
2018 - Silver Badge complete - Forgot I could claim for the 100km diploma flying an out and return
2019 - Get up to speed and aim for a 300km task?! maybe.....

Re: Adjusting Penalty Zone
Many landscapes have multiple maps, sometimes there is one with an aviation VFR chart or Sectional. If they have that, select it and you just have to click on the map along a boundary in order to create a Penalty Zone. I agree four sides with a maximum of eight zones is limiting (at least 6 sides would be very useful, and having a circle would be nice. You still have to adjust the Penalty Zone altitude for each zone you create (I assume you are creating airspace).
Having the PZ altitudes in feet if using Imperial or Australian units - feet - would also make creation of penalty zones less problematic.
