Date in IGC File is Incorrect

Post by Jmason9999 » Sun Jul 04, 2021 10:57 pm

When I look in my exported IGC files, the line containing the UTC Date of Flight has the incorrect date. It's always June 21, 2021. The line begins with HFDTE.
Here's the line: HFDTE210621

I've checked a number of files and they all have the same date after HFDTE. I can't find anything in settings that controls this, and my PC has the correct date.

Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

Thanks,
Jim

It's the date of the task. Screenshot from a task I made last year, so it's 21.06.2020

If you fly your own tasks, you can change the date there, but the weather conditions depends on it.

Condor defaults to the longest day in the landscape when you create a new task. So june 21 in the northern hemisphere and 21 december in the south.

Setting a different date affects sunrise and sunset times as well as sun position. This in turn affects where thermals will form an how strong they are.
