The calculation of the task results.

Post by Genchik » Wed Apr 07, 2021 3:47 pm

There was a misunderstanding in the calculation of the task results.
The pilot flew the task. As a result, one of the pilots does not have one of the control points. The pilot claims that in flight, both the Condor and XCSoar signaled for capture. Analysis of the track at the SEEYOU showed that the point was taken. Analysis in coaringlab.eu showed that the point was not taken.
How can it be?

Rounding errors or difference in map projections used can result in slight differences in position.
