Store landscapes on network drive

I love the ability to move tha Landscapes folder out of the root directory with the command line however I tend to want more. I have a NAS on my local network with ample storage (as opposed to my laptop) and wanted to move my landscape files there.
I have mapped the drive as a network drive to Windows, created the simlink in command line however Condor says that the scenery files are corrupted and fails to load them. The simlink appears to work from Windows Explorer.

Is there a way to load a scenery from a network drive?

enable the switch and enter the path:
\\ip-adress\directory\

example: \\123.456.7.890\Condorsceneries\

Thanks for your reply, I can't actually write into the text box I can only click Change which opens a file dialog and I can't select the network drive due to an error. (it can't be spelling error because I didn't spell anything I just clicked on the NAS)

That's a linux box with more then 8 characters.

Use the IP or rename to less then 8 characters.

Have you configured the box to serve a Windows network?

It is also very strict on lower case for users as far as I remember. Windows allows capitals. Linix doesn't...

I hated it and went back to Windows.

You have to solve this connecting issue in Windows first. If you can't access it through Explorer, don't even try with CU.
You can try to map a letter to this network drive too.

I have a Synology NAS at home, I can set up CU to use it, with \\nasname\sharedfoldername or by letter affected to this shared folder. Maybe a wrong access right on this folder?
