I live in the USA and am on EDT . I know myself and several others have a difficult time to find competitions on line from from 1530 local to about 2130 local. (1930 UTC till about 0130 UTC. ) , as the USA has only one competition.

Anyone have any ideas?

Paul, whilst we're UK based could we set the server to run the same task as we fly at a favourable time for Digger and his fellow US pilots? (I think it's you right Digger / DRombach?)

Our evening tasks are usually finished by 22:30, let's say 23:00 latest. Could fire up a server at 23:15 for US pilots which would be 18:15EDT once BST kicks in.

Digger let us know what time would be good for you all and we'll see what we can do

You could also take a look at the Tchin-tchin re-flies:

FR11 Tchintchin J-1 at 21:05 = Flight of the previous day
FR12 Tchintchin J-2 at 21:10 = Flight of two days before
FR13 Tchintchin J-3 at 21:15 = Flight of three days before

(times are CET=UTC+1, CST=UTC+2 after March 28)

A sad situation has occurred . We were informed that Surfing with Aliens will be no more. At least for about a month , may be longer.
That is the only race that is flown in the US on a nightly schedule. With Late Night Soaring gone as well, we cant fly past 3pm EDT. Team XC has some flights on Friday and Monday nights. So good thing I'm retired and can fly during the day.

The Canadian gliding association has these servers operating 24/24, you have 3 freefly at the start of a good French club, as well as 2 races in the Alps which restart each time they are finished.
You find these flights on the link http://www.condorsoaring.com/serverlist ... arch=cndr2

Also for the vocal part the Canadian Glider Flight Association has set up a teamspeak server, you can search for it once on the teamspek server by searching: TS_Condor_SAC / ACVV

of course you have to install teamspeak to search for our servers.
There you will find a free channel in French or in English.
the other channels are reserved for Canadian RL pilots and are password protected.

Also do not hesitate to come with your friends at any time.
