Hi folks,
Not sure if its a Condor issue or XCSoar issue. I have Condor 2 and use a Samsung Note for my PDA running XCSoar. I have configured XCSoar and it seems to work fine in real life. When connected to XCSoar, the GPS altitude is correct and initially, Height AGL is fine when the glider is sitting on the ground. However, on takeoff, the Height AGL actually goes negative!!! Other functions of XCSoar seem to get the correct info from Condor. I use the same landscape file loaded in XC Soar when using it in real life or via Condor. I don't know if Condor sends AGL data via the NMEA port. If so, then it's likely a Condor issue.
Thanks, Kevin.
Height AGL not sending correctly to XCSoar?

What landscape and airport. Some landscapes have the airport elevations set wrong.

Re: Height AGL not sending correctly to XCSoar?
You must configure XCSoar so that it knows that the GPS device is Condor.
See Annex 5 of the Condor manual: https://www.condorsoaring.com/manual_en/
The GPS altitude in XCSoar should be the same as the altitude displayed in the F2 view

Re: Height AGL not sending correctly to XCSoar?
Yup... thanks! Essentially, on XCSoar go to Config -> Devices and there were two setup...
A: Built-in GPS & sensors
B: Condor Soaring Simulator on Bluetooth... etc
I had only A: enabled
I disabled A: and enabled B: and all is good now. I just have to remember to swap it back when I go flying IRL.
