Would it be possible to update condor so it doesn't just crash when access to a file is denied? could it try accessing a few times before it crashes?
Somehow other games can be played for hours and nothing bad happens but with condor we can't even sneeze as it might cause condor to crash...

Similar crash when I was just about to finish a race.. My screen didnt freeze tho like others, I crashed straight to Windows.

Exception EinOutError in module Condor.exe at 002FC18A I/O error 32

After checking the logfile, the last line came up the following "ShadeFactor" issue

Landscape refresh start at 22:29:29.
Landscape refresh stopped at 22:29:33.
Landscape refresh start at 22:31:26.
ShadeFactor.CloudShadeFactor at 22:31:27: Access violation at address 0040A3AD in module 'Condor.exe'. Write of address 00000001.

Antivirus was not running and GeForce experience has been on my system for longer than the 11 months I have had Condor running with no issues whatsoever until today.

me too last night at the CWC condor task, got stuck and went directly to window.
in the log file I found last 4 lines

"Landscape refresh start at 22:29:42.
Landscape refresh stopped at 22:29:44.
Landscape refresh start at 22:31:09.
ShadeFactor.CloudShadeFactor at 22:31:11: Access violation at address 0040A3AD in module 'Condor.exe'. Write of address 00000001."

it never happened to me in so many flights of condor...
i have read about various programs that could affect the problem: i have microsoft security essential, but i have disabled for condor...
