CoCoCo (V2 = GUI) : Coordinates converter for Condor

Post by Bre901 » Sun Jan 03, 2021 2:17 pm

I have been mentioning my coordinates converter for Condor here and there, but I never created a dedicated thread

As a new version is available, it is now done

It may be useful if you want to add, in a flight plan, a turn point that does not exist in the database of the lanscape you are working on.

The V1.1 version is available as a beta for the time being : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GSkCnq ... sp=sharing

New features are:
- the software can be installed anywhere (no need for CoTaCo anymore)
- improved documentation (including French version)

It's been more than three weeks since the beta release and I haven't heard of any bugs
... let's hope that it's because there was none and not because nobody tested it.

Anyway, as I couldn't find any either, version 1.1 is now officially released.
It is only available on the new web page: https://condorutill.fr/index.html#CoCoCo.

CoCoCo now has a GUI !

CoCoCo_GUI.jpg

It is possible to perform conversions between different (lat, lon) formats
The CLI and batch modes are still available

Condor 1 is not supported anymore, use version 1.1 if needed

The beta version is available here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eIfvXG ... sp=sharing

For more information, see the CoCoCo_README.txt file
Thanks for testing, your comments and suggestions are more than welcome

PLEASE NOTE:

I had very little feedback for beta versions recently.
They will no longer be freely available, you will have to request access for downloading.
They will have a limited life span (about 1 month)

If someone does not return any feedback (which may be as short as: "App XXX works fine"), he will not be allowed to download beta versions anymore.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I will add the IGC file format to the possible input formats.
Is it useful to add it to the output formats?

Despite a reminder by email, the people who have downloaded the beta version still haven't given me any feedback on how the application works.

The beta versions are made available to users in order to speed up the search for bugs, but if nobody gets more involved, I have plenty to do elsewhere ...
