Ka6CR Imperial e-vario

Post by Bre901 » Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:27 pm

The Ka6CR Imperial e-vario needle center of rotation is offset to the left.

To fix that, go to the Condor2\Planes\Ka6CR folder and edit the Ka6CR.gau file
Scroll to the [EVario-I] section and remove the last line
RotationY=-0.008594

Besides that, the e-vario is actually metric, even if Imperial or Aussie units are selected.
This will be fixed soon

Thanks for the easy fix Bre I've also changed
[EVario-I]
FileName=EVario.c3d

to
[EVario-I]
FileName=EVario-i.c3d

this way when Imperial units are selected also the dial range is set to +/- 10 knts

Ka6 Imperial Electric Vario issue

Post by Paul_UK » Tue Dec 15, 2020 11:16 am

All,

In my install of the K6 with imperial settings the E-vario displayed in the cockpit is metric. It's an easy fix. Edit the Ka6CR.gau file to read as below.

Already reported, I have merged the threads

As mentioned above, you must also remove the last line of that section:

Code: Select all

RotationY=-0.008594
