Questions to random weather

Hi,

I have some questions to the option "Randomize weather on each flight". I searched in the forum, but maybe not good enough.

If this option is set ...

1. The weather I see in the flightplanner is not the same I get in the flight? Every time I open a task with random weather I see the same weather in the flightplanner

2. In multiplayer, get all pilots the same weather in the same task? And the next time they join in this task (maybe the next day), they get another weather, but all pilots the same in the same flight?

Randomize weather will only change the "seed" used to calculate where the thermals are more likely to spawn but they keep the strength and width etc...that are set in the weather panel.

So, you'll be flying the same type of weather but thermals will be somewhere else.

As far as multiplayer is concerned, I am pretty sure the weather (and the seed) is set by the server and therefore everyone flies the same weather and has thermals located at the same place.

Yes on the same server, but not if there are several servers.

So if I want different weather in different tasks (winddirection, thermalstrength etc.), I have to change it from task to task.

Thanks for the hint. Very important to know, but not relevant in my case yet. I will remember it, if I use more than one server
