A terminology question for English-speaking RL glider pilots

Post by Bre901 » Fri May 29, 2020 7:57 pm

I am currently translating (to English) the manual for an application I have written.

In French we have an expression "être en local de" meaning "to be able to glide to" [a landable area]

Is there an equivalent expression in English ? preferably understood on both sides of the Big Pond and Dunnunda ;-)

Thanks in advance
