Please pardon my lack of knowledge as I've just started learning, but how does one try for very efficient turns? I understand the concept of coordinated flight and coordinated turns using rudder and aileron to control adverse yaw. However, I'm less sure about the proper bank angle and speed of entry into and out of the bank angle.
If I want to change from current heading to another heading 20 degrees to the right or left, what factors would I include in determining how much of a bank angle to use and how quickly to roll into the bank angle? For heading change of 40 degrees? 80?
If the answer is "go read this" or "go do this tutorial", I will.
