If neither of the above could be the issue do you have any idea why it might not work for him when it does for me? Also if not sortable in the short term for him might there be away of reverting back to the original settings but still being compatable with 2.0.6?

Just untick Roll, X, Y & Z

My colleague though is still beside himself (literally) having out of body and out of glider experiences even with 5 and 6 dofF selected. Neither seems to restrict his movement to be within the canopy. The only difference I can see from talking over the phone with him is that he uses the Track Clip (not the Pro). Could that be the reason for his issue or is that just a red herring?
I dont think the clip would make a difference, more likely he is using a speed setting higher than 1:

That setting is not saved in the profile, so he could have it much higher.
Increasing it not only increases "speed", unfortunately it also increases the limits.

Assuming he stays within the cockpit with a speed setting of 1, if then he wants to increase sensitivity, he needs to change the curves, clicking the green up arrow for every axis he wants to speed up.

Oh, one more thing, make him select "exclusive"

just to be sure the title profile is not be overriding the default profile.

Hi Jan and Marc

Many thanks for the prompt responses.

Pretty sure his speed is set to 1 and thought we'd experimented with exclusive ticked and unticked but will try that again.

Failing that will untick Roll, X, Y and Z in the meantime.

Regards
Steve

Fantastic

Initial attempts seem to suggest that ticking 'exclusive' solves the issues.

I do hope he finds no others, we need all of us for Tuesday night :-).

Cheers Steve

If he only flies condor, setting the profile to exclusive is perfectly fine.
If he uses different sims, and wants different profiles, he may want to double check his title profiles:

The selected game-specific profile is only shown in trackir app once you enter the simulator and start flying (and then trackir becomes minimized to the tray), so it can be a little confusing. Im pretty sure that is/was also CristianoConrado's problem.

.... seeing a corkscrew effect? If I yaw my head to the right, it results in Y decreasing (head moving down) and vice versa. ..

I had the same feelings with the original profile, hence mod a bit to suit my taste attached below for your comparison.

Hi guys - are these still deemed the best settings for TrackIR 5 on Condor 2? I’ve just invested in a Track IR kit and am really looking forward to getting it set up.

Thanks

Hi All -

I've unzipped the 6DOF profile into the correct location but it isn't appearing alonside Default, One:One and Smooth as a profile I can select. FYI I'm running windows 10. Here's where the profile was unzipped:

Hey Guys,

just wanted to say that this profile works like a champ - no more cheating with looking around out of the limousine :)

Thanks for the effort to create it!
