I've recently been doing some little tasks IRL and i've noticed that the GPS' that we use are much laggier than, say xcsoar connected to the feed out of Condor. IRL it means less accurate thermalling exits back onto tasks etc. IRL I find that I am having to exit the turn 30-45 deg 'earlier' than the GPS would suggest.
Does anyone else notice this?
I would also suspect that the GPS fix will never be lost, never be inaccurate or only be a 2d fix. Not that those should be something to simulate!
