CoTaCo (V4.2.2): Task converter for XCSoar, LK8000 & SeeYou
Re: CoTaCo (V3.3): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
It's been more than two months that version 3.3 is available as a beta and I haven't heard of any bug
... let's just hope it was because there were none to be found and not not because no-one tested it
Whatever, as I didn't find any either, version 3.3 is now officially released.
It is available only on the new webpage : https://condorutill.fr/#CoTaCo

Looks great!
Any beta for download and test?

Not yet, I still have to integrate the GUI into the software ...
Is there any other parameter present in the .ini file that you think would deserve being accessible through the GUI ?

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
Well - for me editing .ini isn't problem (and hope CoTaCo will work also silent way, as before but maybe GUI could ask during 1st run for C2 folder, XCS folder and maybe: Use Polars folder=3 [0=none, 1=Polars, 2=Maps, 3=Polars and maps] + desired conversion: XCS, Lk8000 or SeeYou Mobile.
Just an idea...
Thank you for great tools you've made for C2 users!

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
Of course, I will leave the automatic mode if the input .fpl file is indicated in the .ini file
Good idea, there could also be something about AAT (always ask/never/auto) in the Setup formbut maybe GUI could ask during 1st run for C2 folder, XCS folder and maybe: Use Polars folder=3 [0=none, 1=Polars, 2=Maps, 3=Polars and maps] + desired conversion: XCS, Lk8000 or SeeYou Mobile.

Since I posted the first image, this thread has been seen 180 times, I'm a bit surprised that only one user has an opinion ...

Hmm - every refresh is counting, so for sure less people seen it. And many pleased already.
And well - I guess you're making too good software to have many requests.
But - as you know I was using feature based on naming convention, not task parameters etc, so I always used to save fpl as:
Default.fpl or Default-AAT.fpl
My scenario is as easy as possible: entering to the server, saving task as Default.fpl if racing or Default-AAT.fpl - if task is AAT.
Than converting with CoTaCo and: if I point to Default-AAT.fpl converter knows that it is for sure AAT [no matter how strange tasks inside could be] and popup ask about AAT time. Maybe such old fashioned way could be also used in 4?
Rgrds!

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3.1): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
Bug found : In a recent race, I have been unable to input AAT time using version 3.3
It is fixed now, version 3.3.1 is available on the webpage : http://condorutill.fr/index.php

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
Hi,
since the release of XCSoar 7.4, the .prf file has been changed regarding the glider polar setting.
It was:
PlanePath="%LOCAL_PATH%\Polars\selectedgliderpolar.xcp"
It is:
PlanePath="%LOCAL_PATH%\Polars/selectedgliderpolar.xcp"
this means that the polar is not loaded with the actual output from CoTaCo, we need to manually select it from the menu.
Can you find a workaround?
Thanks.

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
Thanks for reporting that.
A few days ago, I had noticed that the glider type was not taken into account, but I hadn't investigated.
The fix is quite easy, I have checked with an older XCSoar Windows version (6.8 ), it accepts both "\" and "/" in the path
The new executable is on my Google Drive for the time being : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WWhptR ... sp=sharing
I have tested it here with both 6.8-W10 and 7.4-Android
Please could you test it, thanks in advance
Is someone in contact with the XCSoar developers ? If yes, please could you report that feature ?

Hi Bre901,
I'll test it over the next few days.
If anyone can break it it will be me...
Cheers

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3.2): Yet another task converter for XCSoar
If you are still using LK8000, you shouldn't see any change , as it only impacts the XCSoar profile file

Ah well, that explains why I didn't see any difference.
