I just built a new gaming computer exclusively for C3 use, and I'm trying to transition from C3 on my laptop to C3 on my new PC. I tried to purchase a second C3 & selected aircraft but this was refused because I used the same email address as my first purchase (well, duh!). Then I tried to use the license for my first C3 purchase on my new PC, and that was declared invalid.
I sent an email about this to support@condorsoaring.com yesterday, but I haven't heard anything. Can I get some advice on how to handle this transition? I would like to have C3 on both PC's for a while, in case I discover issues with running it on the new PC, but of course I will only be running C3 on on or the other, not both.
TIA,
Frank

Re: Help with two computers running C3
You don't need 2 licenses. And remember, the keys for the planes are connected to the Condor license. You can use Condor on 2 machines (it was that way in C2 and I don't believe it's changed).

Exactly, Just install Condor3 and use the license key you already have. According to the EULA you are allowed to have 2 copies installed at the same time (but not use them at the same time).

Thanks - that did it! I inadvertently used the 'XC Option' license code instead of the 'Condor3' code. My bad

Re: Help with two computers running C3
So I got C3 and XC validated - thanks for the tips.
However, I am now having problems with the landscapes on my external SSD. I have all the landscapes in D:\Condor2\Landscapes (I did this well prior to the C2-C3 upgrade) and D:\Condor2\Landscapes is 'symlink'ed to C:\Condor3\Landscapes. I had this setup on my old PC and it worked flawlessly. The first time I tried to enter 'FreeFlight' on C3 it errored out and said it couldn't find the Slovenia landscape. So I looked at Condor Updater and I could see the Slovenia2 landscape, but it had long since been updated, and the 'Versions' column said '2,3' so it should have worked (and has been working for some time on my old PC). In any case, I then copied the Slovenia3 landscape that came with my C3 install over to D:\Condor2\Landscapes, and then I could get into FreeFlight OK.
I then tried to change the landscape to 'AA3[0.6], but when the map changed it was to an entirely different landscape (shown below).
Moreover, if I attempted to zoom in or out in this mystery landscape using the mousewheel, the control input was instead used to change the landscape up or down the drop-down list. OK, easy fix - have to click in the landscape first -- NOT! This trick works for Slovenia3, but not for the mystery landscape - I can click in the mystery landscape and pan around, but as soon as I use the mousewheel, poof - new landscape!
I suppose the answer to all this might be to completely re-install C3, but I thought this might be interesting to the devs?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Help with two computers running C3
Got an edge case here. I have a little home server that has condor on it for condor server. But until someone comes up with a better solution to have access to the briefing and weather settings in flight (DCS style kneeboard would be awesome!), ive been thinking it might be useful to copy a FPL to it, run condor with the flight planner open, and then use anydesk/RDP on a second monitor to have access to the briefing while flying. Would that constitute running condor on two computers simultaneously?
