When IDAflieg posts polars for birds, then we will consider it.

New here, but playing with Condor for a while now. Great to hear things brewing for a next condor version.

Besides the above mentioned (especially the dual seater implementation would be great) i would like to see a new view (besides my mostly used cockpit view and sometimes the outside view).

As i always really enjoy freecam (or dronecam) tools in simracing for making screenshots or cinematic videos, i think Condor would benefit as well! If not only for making it more youtube-content creator friendly. (Which i'm not by the way.). Games like Assetto Corsa implemented this superbly. Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBq_n9WnwoY

So par example: pause the game and use the WSAD keys to fly through the map like a drone, shift to speed the movement up, Q to go up, z to go down, X and C to tilt.

Is it necessary, no! But it might be a nice addon imo.

Isn't the name of this amazing Simulator Condor after all? :D

But I didn't suggested to waste any time at all to create an aerodynamic model of a bird, just some sort of lower setting Thermal helper visualization less conspicuous than current one, maybe like a few static Bird graphic floating up with same animation of current red bubbles.

Here in the South East USA it's a very common occurrence to climb with Vultures , Ospreys and bald Eagles and IT IS part of the Soaring Experience.

Hi all!
As I wrote september 19th 2021 in this topic, wave lenticulars are too low for himalayan sceneries.

Here is a screenshot to illustrate the issue:

The cumulus are over the wave lenticulars.

In real flights this never happens.

Flew some competition recently where the Plane Icons Range was set at zero. So no icons/labels showing where the gliders are flying and no icons on the map where they are. This added to my sensation of realism

I would like to request to have the possibility to have the Labels of gliders in the air and the icons on the map (like flarm range) separated. It would add to realism to have the option to not have these labels in the air and just set a realistic 5-10km range for nav display icons.

Hi there !
By pressing * on the numpad you "disable" the labels of the gliders. You can therefore see them on the map but without seeing them blue labels anymore while flying.

I'd have use for "view snap up" and "view snap down", 'cause I have no intention to use VR or track view.

My (not so much a feature) request would be to have full ballast as default.
We fly with 100% wing loading 99.9% of the time.
It would also be nice to have in game menus like MSFS 2020 for instance.
With a big map and adjustable weather settings.

Adjustable weather would make offline competition impossible and would be cheating in Condor Club.

But what about moon and stars for the night sky!?

It would be great for setting tasks.
I obviously did not think during race...

It would be nice to have an option to override the towplane AI during tow so that you can choose the direction you want to go. It can work similar to the auto rudder on/off key to enable the override. It does not have to be anything fancy such as press "k" or "L" on the keyboard to turn the tow plane left or right. This could be particularly useful during launch if you want to choose to head towards a ridge or a thermal to gain your height or simply get into a more favourable position in the start sector. This option will also help reduce the number of those grumpy tow pilots who tow you into a leeward side of a mountain or even worse, the mountain itself.

When using padlock view (F7) can we have it start at the nearest glider 1st. I have tried to use this to have quick check on the gliding in the thermal with me only to end up looking at several gliders not even in the same thermal.

+1
Please allow padlock view distance (F7) to be set separately (min.: 0.5 km).
No matter where you go... There you are...
