Hi,

I did finish the race and my name and score where in the multiplayerslist. I did upload the FTR but I was rejected in the resultslist. How can that be?
I now have seen the crosscheckresults:

Taak gestart, nog vliegend (verbinding verboken?) PH-RMD (UPP) ASW 27B 894643579 0,00 00:00:00 0,00 0,00 0,00
Taak gefinisht PH-RMD (UPP) ASW 27B 894643579 373,10 02:53:27 129,10 0,00 0

So I did finish according to the server, the Fl.track has been accepted.

Thanks (many compliments for the way you organize SBC!) :P
Hi Marrj

You have pressed the key on the left side of the "1" key. It makes almost all on your screen to disappear...

thanks Cya,
Its maybe the reason for not seeing messages but not for the wrong placement on the resultslist.

Hello!! I finished the task sbc day7 too late i used 4 hours and 47 min... Its teh first time i compete so im a little bit lost, like in my fly i think i found every lee side on Alps.;). Iv been looking the way to upload my track but i think my time finished, its two oclock now.... How is the normal way to upload the track? And by the way i suppose that the deadline of the task is the finish hour of the uploads... so if next time i see that im late i can leave the task because im not going to be able to upload. Is that correct? Thanks to all,and even flying like a turtle and being stucked several times i had a great time.:). Next time i will try to go with a gaggle...:)
Fight gravity.

That depends on what you mean by "Leaving the task", because exiting the simulation or pulling the Internet connection and not uploading the track, are all counted as a crash.
That means zero points for the flight and an increasing penalty point scheme for the competition.
Making a successful outlanding will at least score you distance points, like I did yesterday after I got hopelessly stuck in a valley.
Sometimes, with difficult or extra long tasks/weather, a number of pilots cannot upload their flight track because they exceeded the upload time window.

In those cases you may look out for an email announcement the day after the race, that the upload window will be re-opened for a limited time.
That's the Jury's discretion, but you did the right thing to post in this Requests topic.

Better luck next time!

Hi,

I`ve got a condor error message (blue screen with red letters) requiring to report the bug to the developers or something like that. It was not an ordinary BSOD, so I`ve attached an lk8000 IGC file as a proof that I was at >3000 m (>1400 m over ground) on the way from TP1 to large mountains at the time of the program fault. I have no idea what was the reason of the bug.

My CN is IW7

Hi,
You’d better read this topic about rules: http://forum.condorsoaring.com/viewtopi ... 26&t=15498
before the organizers do.

Tip:
Specially for the ALPS-XL scenery, you may have to reduce your “visible distance” setting in Condor setup, to prevent such events.
ALPS-XL is a very “graphics heavy” scenery and is known to overheat some computers, followed by a BSOD.

An other cure is to download the “texture reducer” tool from the Condor Club site.
Removing dust from the computer's internals sometimes does miracles also.

Thank you for your reply, but it was not an ordinary BSOD of Windows, it was a condor error message that suggested to report the problem.
If by BSOD you mean that condor screen - ok, no problem - I didn`t know that. My computer is sufficiently fast by the way, with ivy 3770K on board.
It might be a problem of graphics card however.

If you have view distance set to 'very high' you will sometimes a condor crash in this scenery, I believe its due to condor being a 32bit program & 32bit programs cant address more than 2gb of memory (even on a 64bit OS) I did some testing on this a while ago & as soon as condor exceeds 1.6gb a crash is imminent. Setting view distance to high in this scenery has cured it for me, everywhere else I run with the settings maxed out.
