Level 21 will be again a short inverted flight, not too difficult. (Difficulty: 2/5)
Level 22 is a surprise (Diff: 5/5)
Level 23 could be a simple cross-country flight (about 75km, levels must stay short) with medium conditions (Diff: 2/5)
Level 24 and 25 will be a X-country as stated above (low conditions and blue thermal) (Diff: 3/5 and 4/5)
Level 26 will be a tweaked FPL to simulate english weather very low clouds, weak thermal (Diff: 4/5)
Level 27 will be your FPL (I've to finish it (Diff: 99/5)
Then will come acro tasks. (Diff: easy to hard)
By "will" you can read "would" or "could" as it's [edit: *not*] definitely decided.
The difficulty level is not linear but it all depends of the skills of each pilot. Some will find x-country flights very easy, others (like me) will have hard time
For the list of participants, have a look at the results!

No, "pervert volunteer", which means something entirely different... in French.Strider69 wrote:Did someone mention PERVERT.
OK, that's far better than I thought.BOD1 wrote:...have a look at the results.
I'll see if I can come up with something for #23, 24 and 25 with increasing difficulty.
Use them as you see fit.
It's a terrible dilemma, isn't it?BOD1 wrote:Level 27...
I'm glad I sent you the .ftr file, as proof that it can be done.

Hi,
The XP Challenge is really a must, very interesting and instructive. It helps me improve my performances.
Some levels where very difficults for me, it would be of interest, in the results table, to know the number of trials we made for each before succeeding. For me, its about 10 to 20 times for some! I would like also to have debriefing for each level from the candidates.
I think that some tests are really NOT TO DO PRACTICES. I re-read the tutorials and my RL flying manuals, when applying the good practices some levels are franckly impraticable!
Merci et Chapeau BOD1

Strange thing with level 8
I think it was 8... The one where you have to thermal to cloud base in 4 minutes 15 seconds
I kept completing the task at 4' 17'' seconds, or rounding the top gate the wrong way at about 4' (and not being able to get back in 15 seconds. I was trying to fly smoothly and stay centred in the strongest lift.
In desparation I changed units from imperial to metric (thinking I'd better get used to the idea...) and then the next attempt was 4' 05'' and not particularly well flown.
Is there a rounding down that is hindering imperial?

Definitely!CLP260 wrote: ...is hindering imperial?
This is done to encourage people in certain parts of the world to finally adopt this scientifically correct metric system, instead of measuring distances and speed by the length of their body parts and knots in a rope, and even driving at the wrong side of the road.
But seriously, I wouldn't know.
Never did imperial.

You are getting to sound like a yank, Well over here boy we only have big ones.thermal wrote:Sorry, but even the wording is scientifically correct.Strider69 wrote: ...left which is right...
Right = right.
Well i'm glad you agree.
No, that's why on the continent we use meters.Strider69 wrote:...it's only because you have little one's..
