Arrggghhh! I've got the old 2.0 Scotland scenery installed, and there's no patch available, so I'm going to miss this week. This scenery seems to have only been available for 13 days?

Matt, Scotland 2.1 since November 25th, one month ago:

and its better to check your collection of sceneries for SkyRace here (one month online too):

Hi, Erik,

so I see. I am downloading it now (still) and also picked up the Vysocina which I didn't have. Other than that I'm up to date. This is a typical issue with these once a week servers; I've seen it happen with MNS as well. I'm disappointed I can't fly this week, but truthfully I'm not feeling very well so maybe it's just as well that I go to bed and stop complaining. :-)

What a race...

It was a hard fight, but at least I made it home. I found it very realistic, especially the scenery choosen in conjunction with the weather given.

About the scenery version: There have been a number of participants not having the latest update installed. With so many sceneries available (> 50 in total), I find it hard to stay up-to-date. For me I can say, that I read about it here in the forum:
http://forum.condorsoaring.com/viewtopi ... 1&start=15
But you cannot expect from your pilots that they search/check the forum before starting a race. the only source should be the skyrace homepage.
Therefore I would recommend to include a list of sceneries which will be used in section "Rules" or elsewhere. This assures, that all pilots have the required stuff installed before entering the game.

Flying a longer task on a Friday Night is really no problem. So keep up your work!

Hi,
Yes, what a flight. No chance for me. I was at the middle of the task, nothing on the ridges, missed 2 thermals, finally, catched a 0.3, 0.5 lift but ... only at 280 m ... Too low.
Fortunatly, i had a nice field to land. So, no crash, it's the most important :lol:

@ FL : It's easy, now, to stay up to date, here : http://www.condor-club.eu/sceneries/197/

The task was hard work but easier than I expected even in the Std class, would probably have pushed harder if knew a little better how the low ridges would work in Condor.

Yes, it was realistic and not easy.
I flew slow, carefully and i was the whole flight not really in trouble.
Only Tadej forced me to fly faster :-)

Results would be nice.....

I liked this task alot, the low cloudbase the ridges in the bloody way :lol:
It was a hard fight indeed one missed thermall could spell a lot of trouble.
Concerning the scenery version, i dun agree completly, the version of the scenery was allready posted in a thread wich sceneries skyrace would use;
and Karsten posted a post on the forum this week stating what scenery it would be;
I do agree that mentioning it on the rules or skyrace mainpage would clarify stuff even more for future races.
Anyways great task last night keep em coming SR-team. 8)

Is there a possibility to post some unofficial/official results from last friday's race?
Or is the scoring system near completion and will we be able to see em on the SR-website anytime soon?
Tx in advance...
