SR08/09 Day1

Post by kaleu » Wed Dec 03, 2008 10:27 pm

2 days to go until the 4th season of SkyRace starts, for the first flight we've chosen the Provence and I hope that the task will be doable for most of the pilots as well as not too easy for the more experienced pilots.
Further news will follow here and as soon as it is ready on the official Briefing website.

Let's hope for full servers, fun and strong thermals  .

Good. Just one question about timezones. Do i need to register somewhere to the desired timezone or not?

...here is the way, how it will be works for 1th racing day. I am still working on timezone and class exchange GUI (1 or 2 hrs of work), but KMF today  so lately night. Anyway you would can change your class and timezone in your CRC account. (announcement I will post as it will be ready).
There will be also autodetection system by briefing, which redirect you to this place, if your zone will not be set. From 2nd racing day wont be possible make this changes in racing day of course. Also migration between classes will be allowed, but you lost all points from previous races, if you will make such change.
So no worries, it is under control.

Edit: KL added also 19:45 UTC zone..
now we have 5 zones with 30 min jointime limit:
18:45 UTC (3 servers)
19:45 UTC (2 servers)
20:45 UTC (2 servers)
24:00 UTC (1 server)
03:00 UTC (1 server)

Thanks!

Tadej, because all servers will be under password, you will need to see briefing page. Briefing page will find, if you have set zone or not and than you can choose one of zones. Briefing will be active from 17:45 UTC
