Condor with low fps....

Post by reginaldo » Sun Apr 30, 2017 5:50 am

Appearing: Application Error: ExceptioEInOuterror in module Condor.exeAT 001D0c7D. I / O error 32

I've reinstalled everything again and continue with low fps.

I installed a new geforce gtx1050, (for testing) but the problem continues.
Was normal, but after build 16179, the problem occurred. I was not able to return because the creation of the recovery point was not signaled.
S.O.
Windows 10 Pro BUILD 16179.rs_prerelease

thank you!

What cpu/gpu? Have you updated graphics card drivers?

He has a geforce gtx1050, and really, *any* driver thats new enough to support that card, will be about 10 years more recent than Condor.
And any CPU that still runs windows 10, ought to be plenty fast too.

Its clearly related to his windows 10 Insider Preview Build somehow. I would be guessing its caused by directx, since condor uses good old DX7, and Im not sure thats what microsoft is focusing on lately ;).

If you cant roll back to regular windows 10, you might want to try dgvoodoo, which is a directx wrapper, which translates DX7 calls in to DX11 calls:

I do hope this problem does not carry over to the next windows 10 updates.

Same issue. Began about a week or so again with an Insider build. dgVoodoo solved the issue rather painlessly.
