Only joystick no rudder pedals

I am wanting to start with Condor soaring. Can you play with only a joystick ? Thank you

Yes.
SETUP has an option for "Auto Rudder".
Although there are situations that you need rudder, even with Auto Rudder on. But then you can use the keyboard. Default keys are Z and X.

Better buy joystick with twist. Twisting is much better substitution of the rudder pedals than keyboard.
