Side Views on Seperate monitors

Post by mikkieg42 » Mon Dec 14, 2015 2:03 pm

Hi

I think the answer is no but thought would ask the question

1. Using 3 monitors is it possible to show the 2 side views as well as the normal one?
2. Can Condor send data to 2 other Condor PCs as "slave" that would then show the side views?

Cheers
Mik

Yes and No,

You can make a three monitor setup with AMD Multi-Monitor Eyefinity Technology, or TripleHead2Go or whatever.
BUT, Condor is DirectX7. DirectX7 is 2048pixels max... So if you divide that over three monitors, you will be in the stone age of computing.

The widefield wiev is given by width/height ratio of picture and max2048 pixels wide picture is possible. You can use forced resolution for all 3 monitors (for example 640x430 and such monitors you can use 3. personally I recomend one big screen (monitor, better cheap full HD or 4K (upscaling) TV or buy cheap old projector (1024x768 resolution or 1280x720 is enough - tested). Hope someone bring us DX7 to Oculus rift....

Unless I've misread the replies my question is not how to run 3 monitors showing the Condor outside view, but if it's possible to show the normal front view and the 2 sideviews at the same time?
