Re: Oculus Rift
Hi Sebbil,
I haven't yet thought of organizing a demonstration. I'm living near Paris in France. Where are you from ?
Did you see the video on the FB page ?

Re: Oculus Rift
Approx 700km, it's not very close for a demo... To have an idea, Stéréoscopic view and 6DOF headset movement are working.
What oculus do you have exactly? For now, my software is only working with the dk2. I do not have a CV1. I hesitate to buy and port the code for a cv1 or a Microsoft VR headset like hp or samsung. The resolution is even better than that of CV1 but I do not know what is worth the headtracking. Actualy, all will depend on the demand of Condor users.
Regards,

Re: Oculus Rift
Just jumping in here, I have a CV1 and would -love- to be able to fly Condor in my Rift. I suspect it's the most widely adopted pc headset (numbers on Steam are even with Vive) now that it's only $399 now w/Touch controllers and a bunch of games.flyingtux wrote:Approx 700km, it's not very close for a demo... Soon you will not have to be worried about writing for different devices. Microsoft is on the case.

Re: Oculus Rift
Cool! (c'est moi qui t'ai laissé un message sur FB )
How does it work? do you have only a squared screen in front of your eyes or does it englobe like other VR experiences?

Re: Oculus Rift
Ok,
It's like other VR experiences, it's 6DOF (means 6 degrees of freedom). I added dx dy dz and roll head liberty axis comparing to Initial Condor liberty axis (was 2DOF).
Hope it will be more enthusiasts,
JP
