Can you try to monitor memory usage of your computer when you fly with condor?
Hi, hitzi. Sorry for the delay in answering. Life keeps getting in the way.
The nVidia GTS360M card has 1GB dedicated GDDR5 memory and can use up to 2GB of shared system memory. The driver is 188.29 and according to nVidia only Toshiba can issue driver updates as it is a 'laptop' card and is not a standard PC card. The Toshiba support site indicates that I have the most current.
I flew the Oahu HD twice, different courses, both times Condor errored with the GetMemory at 10 min. As I edit my original post, I flew one of the original included Condor tracks (Slovenia/Lesce 100 free) for just over an hour with no problem (60 to 90 FPS). And I did my best to hammer it (changing views, cycling the pda, anything I could think of.) I only got two instances of the triangle working symbol. And that was for maybe a second each. I'll try a different scenery after I finish this post.
All Condor graphic setting are at max. The VB is unchecked.
It may be that Flying Islander's Oahu HD is causing the memory hangup. I know that he has static hangliders and such scattered through out the scenery.
Any suggestions as to a memory trace/monitoring program? Or is there something in the nVidia control pannel that would do the same?
