Slider works as a button
Slider works as a button
Hello, i have a saitek throttle quadrant that i’m willing to use as a slider for the throttle, airbrakes and flap axis, its calibrated correctly but condor recognizes it as a button so its full or nothing does anyone know how to change it to a slider?

I use this quadrant, it works very well. I've had no difficulty to install, configure or calibrate, I use it for trim, flaps, and brakes,
Npte that if you move the slider all the way down, it actuates a button. I use the one in the brake slider for wheel brake - as in some gliders

In my case its full open or full closed nothing in between
Re: Slider works as a button
Btw its not the standalone device with usb i have the saitek yoke plugged in and the throttle is plugged in into the yoke
Re: Slider works as a button
I guess that's the reason why it's not recognised as an axis by Condor : what name(s) do you see when you move the lever(s) in the Assign Controls menu ?
If the throttle has a USB connector, I would recommend trying to plug it directly into the computer.

Ruben89, I'm out of home, so unable to show a print of my config. But it's the of Bre901's, except I use trimmer in the quadrant and throttle on joystick.
Re: Slider works as a button
This is quite a creative solution as an alternative to some real hardware that I am looking for.
I have the Saitek Throttle Q as an individual USB device. The one I have has 3 levers (RPM, Manifold Pressure, and Mixture). As I understand it, I can simply activate each lever corresponding to the function I want as in the image you posted?
I am looking for some hardware components which will mimic the airbrakes, trimmer, release knob etc as in the real glider. Could you point me to some source(s) for these controls?
Thanks,
Tony
