First of all a big thanks you to Vertigo! The man who with is BB's trick triangle set the standard for the LLC. Also a big thank youto SL and all the other men behind the LLC. And, finally a big thank you to all the competitors. It was really fun to fly with all of you. Great sportmanship. My hat is off to all of you!

I really had a blast today. A real fun flight in an area which i knew from real life. Great flight.

Two shot which I want to share with you.

Did two big mistakes which costed me A LOT, but bagged that 10 000 milestone ... so in end a positive end of LLC

Funny you should have had a "power cut" experience.. Same thing happened to me. Just a few minutes after release from the tug and climbing nicely.............. and then nothing, the PC just switched off and my last LLC bit the dust. After hundreds of hours my PC fails at such a critical moment. After much cursing and head scratching the PC came back to life after removing and replugging the main power lead..Total mystery, now I must wait until the next LLC. Hopefully will have time to get in some much needed practise in the mean time?

Thank you to all who have given LLC, sorry I missed the last installment!

last day is scored, script is running, my bed is calling, time for a beer, i think. Thank you all for participating, had much fun to race against and among you. Hope to see some CN's during summer here in Condor or in the "real skys".

BB out.

The task valued the scenario at its best.

I risked too much on the first attempt, and I crashed.

As a server was still open, I joined this last one and had an ok flight to the end (my best performance so far!). :)

Unluckily I have been mislead by the LLC rules, though:
(Ex art. 7) New Starts: A new valid start invalidates all previous performances of the day.
As indeed I discovered - when I sent my IGC - that this is not true if you crashed earlier. It doesn't matter to me, but I suggest a clearer formulation of the rules in 2006/7 edition! :)

A worthy end to the competition with an excellent task in an excellent scenery.!
Apart from taking off from Puimoisson, which I never did, I felt at home immediately, because I've been collecting at least half of my RL soaring hours in this part of France for the last 15 years or so.
The only things I can say, is that the "distribution of the thermals" (and sink!) is.... well, different compared to RL. :?
I'm not sure if the scenery can do anything about that, or if it's a Condor releated thing.
We'll see after patch 1.09, when we can add wind again.

Anyway, I finished first on my server with what I thought a reasonable speed.
I'm very curious where some pilots found those +8 m/s thermals though.
Best I had was a +4.8 m/s.

A big Thanks to the LLC team for this 2005/2006 competition.
I hope there will be a 2006/2007 one.
And congratulations to the winner of course.

I wish you all a very succesfull and safe RL soaring season!

Werner,

When you send your IGC file to the organisation your flight can still be scored.

You can use your lasttrack.ftr in the analyzer and save it as an igc file

It was a nice task.
Unfortunately I made a too long glide, and got low. Then when I was thermalling in a 3m/s thermal.. I forgot to put my flaps on 4.. so I got into a spin resulting in a crash.

Just a big stupid mistake.
