FREDO_2 LLC day 49 aerotow failure

Post by markjt » Mon Apr 24, 2006 11:59 am

Hello and sorry to all the pilots who joined FREDO_2 last night.

I have looked at the server logs and for some unknown reason it looks like the aerotow did not start :(

I still can't figure it out because all looked normal when the server first started. It almost looks like the server stopped, restarted but then the aerotow launching procedure failed.

I hope you were all able to find another server? If not I think you should have a chance at a refly before Thursday. Please post here.

Hi Mark,
I was already airborne on Fredo_2, but some guys suffered from the two strike.
But we all need to leave the server anyway because there was no "start of race". There was no count down for the race to start.
Anyway, there was a late server that we could join in time.
Thanks and cu Thursday (in the Provence I guess)

Thanks for the update Jeroen.

It looks like another server was also affected by the same problem yesterday. I will monitor FREDO_2 closely from another remote connection on Thursday so that we can restart it if the bug appears again.
