Got disconnected just before TP2, so I continued offline. I did 139.55 average, no idea if it's bad or good. I sent my IGC and FTR files to Vertigo, so he can give me a score...

I am continuing my saga of finishing 2nd on SL server. This time behind SL with 143km/h.

I bet those pesky germans and WK will be all above 150kmh

Top3 on MH server:
A7 with 144.something
VT with 142.something
HL with 140.something

Quick flight report:
Started early and flew pretty aggressively towards tp1. Took a couple of strong CU's and when I was 15km away from TP! I slowed down to maintain height. This was a good decision because there were few Cu's around TP1 and right after turning I entered the mountains. I was able to pass north of track and flew through that valley without much delay. On the 2nd leg I had no real Cu's to work with but I had good height and the ridge did give some reduced sink. Most of leg2 I flew alone but when approaching tp2 A7 and KW was close. A7 started later than me so he had flown faster.

The rest was easy enough, took a couple of Cu's to reach final glide with mc2.5

I'm happy with this flight. My first one for a month (last one was Day37) so reaching Top20 is good :)

The team B9 and XX worked very well. We had a late start, but the first thermals weren`t so good but then it worked better. We did 142km\h, second and third on our server. Place one had VK with 155km\h. Well done VK.

Greetings from Team B9 and XX

restarted after 30 mins because I screwed up
flew first leg with DG, who landed out before TP2, and someone else who crashed.. then another loooooonely flight. finished all alone and last, didn't see anyone until the finish.. but with 142.7, so not too bad.

Hi,

today was my first LLC participation and my first >200km Task in Condor ever.
My time was not so good of course, took >2 hrs and had an average of a few above 100 km/h.

Nevertheless, great experience! I'm looking forward to participate in future races! No other online game can be compared to this!
Maybe my time will be better someday :-)

Regards
Martin Hoefs

Wow it sounds like it was a tough task guys. It slipped my mind about LLC, due to the fact we lost an hour sleep in this part of the world due to the clocks moving ahead. Plus I was busy beta testing the West Alps scenery. I figure that's a worthy cause to miss out on a few races if it helps speed up the release date of the scenery . I'll probably fly the task later to see where I would have scored. Knowing my luck I'll be low and slow we Canucks seem to excel in that area & out landing too . Next race snackage is on me guys: a case of Molson with poutine and/or beaver tails :P

Got a Condor System Error just before TP3 on on final glide :)

draw ground objects.DrawAutoObjects at 23:01:56: Floating point overflow.

on a MS like blue screen........

I've mailed it to the condor team for checking out; need a bugfix???

Nevertheless it was nice ride again, however 0 points for me I guess......

do you have a "lasttrack.ftr" in your flighttracks folder? Then convert it to IGC and send it to lowlandscup@gmail.com

Hi all

I had a Condor freeze when was about 40km from finish, almost on FG with about 1:25hrs. This was to be my best race on LLC....

The error on log was:

Landscape refresh start at 17:33:06.
Landscape refresh stopped at 17:33:08.
Condor seems to be frozen: Draw airports: 17:34:53:654.
Condor seems to be frozen: Draw airports: 17:34:54:701.

I managed to climg beside cloud to 2700m close after start and to 3500m before tp2. After a late start of task on GN server i managed to catch GN and RMM and was flying 20km ahead of them, than FREEZE..... :?

Waiting for next sunday....

René

P.S.: what will we do after LLC2006 is ended? I mean we of southern hemisphere.... My first tasks on LLC were at 25-30ºC and now it's about 15-20ºC (winter is coming :( )
