Calling all UK pilots......."The Bladder-Busters"

Post by desktopsimmer » Wed Dec 28, 2005 12:32 pm

I think we're almost officially the least organised team :)

In the spirt of healthly competition, maybe we could organise ourselves to have a little fun flying together and maybe, as a bonus, get better points, for both ourselves and the UK, God Bless the Queen's cotton socks :)

For now how many UK pilots are interested in semi organised LLC team flying? Please leave your name below.

If there is interest, I'll get a Dedicated UK Condor and Teamspeak Servers up and running for training purposes. Hopefully this will be almost a 24/7 server operation.

Providing the flights dont clash with anything else, Im up for it :)

Please put my name down....

Tend to fly in 1 of 2 modes....all out gun ho, ending in a tree somewhere, or slow but in goal...Could do with some training partners

Great idea

Good idea. Slovenia's position improved dramatically once we got ourselves (well, the majority at least) organized.

Sounds like an idea - I'd be keen to join.

Obviously I still reserve my natural born right to continue flying under the New Zealand flag, but as a UK resident I'd like to join the side.

100% outlandings and counting though

No Problem, I'll have a word to Tony Blair to fast track full UK citizenship :). After that your name will be added to the Flight Roster. :D

Hi GW,

The FREDO DS is in the data centre at last. I've been running it for about a week 24/7. We can use it for UK races/training. The TS server is on 24/7 as well.

We have enough bandwidth to run several server instances with 32 players simultaneously I believe.

There have been 3 weird lockups of CondorDedicated, but otherwise performance is excellent. I will start running multiple instances this weekend with different task types.

I'm working on a basic web site with more info.

BTW, anyone know if Ian (nimbusgb) is still around?

Count me in too, I really need to improve my flying and am in serious need of some training, at the moment im virtually one of the slowest flyers in any race and need an incentive to fly in the Lowlands races. It often can take me an hour longer than many others and I never get organised to fly. Might try to tonight though :)

So all in all this would be a great opportunity for people like me
