Thermally and hilly it is, I will start the server about 8 o'clock unless a different start time is preferred

Thanks Terry. Hope to see you all later. Appreciate any ideas, rituals etc to keep the Floating Point error at bay. BTW Eastern Alps 2.0 looks interesting. The elevation data for the Julian Alps seems a little different to the original Slovenia scenery?

Couldn't get on tonight, not the usual 2 passwords I know. Maybe you could PM the password you use when you host Terry. Thanks.

Well I'm now the proud owner of a spanking new headset and just had my first chat with another Tony from Basingstoke on the Speedbattle Teamspeak Server.

I'll be able to talk to you guys at last.

Speedbattle Cup

Post by ddunwoody » Sun Dec 03, 2006 4:41 pm

Any UK pilots flying in the Speedbattle cup this evening? I'm hoping to be able to make Sundays in this. Weekday tasks are a little tricky at the minute since my company moved offices, but I start a new job, closer to home, next month. :)

Shall we meet up from 19:30 onwards in the Team UK teamspeak channel to pick a server etc.?

I'll start a thread in the speedbattle cup for us...

Cheers,

David

Hey guys

I keep going on Condor and I seem to be the only British boy.

Any chance I can join you for a few sorties.

I don't seem to be able to connect to the TeamUK teamspeak server. Have the settings changed to those you PM'ed me a few weeks back George, or is it not always up and running ?

It was nice talking to you on the Speedbattle server last night David, and congratulations on your placing in SBC day 1. I wish we could have kept the communication going after our initial failed attempts to join Server 1. I had to reboot several times trying to connect to the SBC servers.

It would be good if we could get a few us in the same server and on teamspeak for the SBC tasks. David and I were outnumbered by a strong French contingent when we finally got going on the late server. Who's up for Thursday's task ?

It's up 24/7, and is now (it's my server). No details have changed.

PM on the way.

Well, I will be trying to fly all the SBC races. Last winter we had quite a strong brit contingent. Wh else will be flying (assuming the servs are working properly :) )
