LOW-END glider event - An Apology

Post by John Verschoor » Thu Jan 21, 2016 10:21 pm

In an attempt to create a Scottish fog, I set a very low cloudbase. During testing there were plenty of thermals, but in the actual flight, thermals were hard to find because the clouds were so big, and with little room between clouds and ground there was no room for errors... Oh well, live and learn. I try to set my tasks a bit different then the mainstream, but this was just too experimental. :)
Next flight will be a classic 300 KM FAI triangle!

Serveral pilots asked me to start another server with the same task, and with a lot of care and patience, PJS and WW managed to complete the task. (same task, same settings, just a bit of pre-knowldge this time)

Well done! Anyhow, next task will be a lot more straightforward :)
