I guess you will have to redo the diagram, since you will most likely want to use DXT3 instead of DXT1 and the file will be bigger. Why? You will see soon...

That's finally a concrete news .. :D. Curious to see what you will do with the Alpha layer in terrain textures ...?

So, since this thread is named "what we already know" - is there anything known about VR support? I didn't find anything but speculations in all the topics. Since release will most probably be in 8 days I *need* the perfect VR equipment on day one, should VR be supported at all. I want to purchase it NOW :D

If there hasn't been anything from the devs on this topic - come one. It's 8 days. I can has info pleas? :D

A long long time ago, somewhere in Slovenia, the French Condorsim.fr team interviewed Uros and Gregor:

Still about multiplayer, it seems to us that, once, you talked
about the possibility for two remote pilots to share "actively"
one glider cockpit, a default functionality rarely found on civilian
flight simulators that can lead to interesting activities such as :
instructor + pilot for teaching or pilot + navigator for long tasks
with complex navigation. Is it still on the "to do list" and if so
what is the approximate date of availability ?
Uros
Yes, this is still very high on ToDo list, however it won't be included in one of version 1 patches as originally planned, but will be a feature of version 2.
-------------------------------------------------
Would be cool, and even quite useful to train cross-country to beginners. Not sure if OXO and team implemented this.

Nice finding from old communication era! Thank you! :)
I forgot about this great interview! Will update first post!

"Uros:
Along with good physics, which we believe is the foundation of every simulator, weather is certainly the most important area in soaring simulations. We would like the weather to demand a lot more tactical decisions from the pilots to make racing more interesting. We think it's important to make sure every single flight is a bit different, just as in real life."

For those who don't know here's list of gliders we most probably will see in the V2 (some we already have seen :) , thank you condorteam!). However not all in the initial release as there are going to be just 7.

Back in 1980, CS-PBY was my Blanik L-13 tranning glider, and I flew Blaniks for a while...

Many years latter I had the chance to fly the Portuguese Air Academy AS K-21 s :-)

So, just for these two, I keep dreaming of getting Condor v2 in my PC !!!

The date ? Well, one day before the day after it get's released...

I guess we will soon find out, but I did not find any mention on C2 supporting force feedback - a must-have in a (sail)plane simulator...

Which, from my simmer experience, is about as good as one can get using typical controllers like most of us run-of-the-mill simmers can afford...

It can be fine tuned through the menu interface in CS1, so I believe same will become availabe in CS2 - just great !

I’m a member of St. Louis Soaring Association and am getting started designing/planning a simulator for the club based on Condor 2.0.

Do we know anything about multi-monitor support? Ideally I’d like to have three monitors (left center right) for the out of cockpit view and then one smaller monitor below them dedicated to instruments. If this is not possible will I be able to have the three? And what resolution might reasonably be possible on these, 1920x1080?
