Have the textures to be DXt3 or is this an option ? in other words can we convert actual DXT1 dss to DXT3 for future V2 scenery..?
For a 2000+ tiles scenery with 10.67 Mo per tile, process time is not negligible... :( so we could start now... :)

Converting them now is useless. There is a reason for DXT3 and this reason requires additional work on textures anyway. You only need DXT3 if you decided to have *new feature I am not allowed to talk about yet*, otherwise you can use DXT1 just like in V1.
