How do you make your nice overlays?
On streams you have some really nice overlays showing live data about the pilots. Would you mind sharing how this is done? I did a Python script reading JSON data from condor and then updating a HTML file which is used as a source in OBS. Is that what you do or is there a more elegant and simpler so...

Re: VPForce Rhino FFB stick first impressions
if you loose force feedback try alt-Tab out of condor and then alt-tab back to condor. This helps me bring the feedback back if I lose it with the Microsoft stick,

Re: QVSGP scoring makes no sense!
One more thing. Just a piece of advice: With the current QVSGP scoring system if you realise that you are in the last position on the final glide and have no chance to overtake anyone, just land out. Your opponents will get fewer points which is good for you in a competition. If the person behind yo...

Re: QVSGP scoring makes no sense!
If more people start a race a 4th place is more difficult to achieve, hence it is worth more points. I would agree with you if registered competitors for the competition decided to participate in the race randomly. However, this is practically never the case. Typically, those fighting for top spots...

QVSGP scoring makes no sense!
I don’t believe that the current scoring system used by QVSGP, where 1000 points are divided by the number of players who finish the race, is the best solution. In fact, I find it nonsensical. Allow me to explain. Currently, if 100 pilots out of 100 registered for the competition participate in the ...

Re: Running XCSoar inside Condor's PDA
I tried changing ini file to this:
[app]
window=LK8000
[pda]
enabled=true
page=2
swap_colours=true
show_waiting_screen=true
Patching seemed to go OK but all I get in condor is a gey screen on pda. LK800 which is also running does not show on condor pda..

Re: Running XCSoar inside Condor's PDA
Great job! Could you please make a LK8000 version? I've released an updated build that lets you configure what window it should capture, tested with LK8000 and it seems to work. Information on how to configure available on GitHub. You can now also choose which page the XCSoar/LK8000 or anything els...

Re: Messages and VR goggles
I think I have found the following way to use voice to chat in Condor 1) Press backspace during the flight to open the Condor chat 2) Use win+H to start the Windows voice typing feature 3) Say what you want to say. 4) Hit enter 5) Use win+H to close the Windows voice typing feature. Autohotkey scrip...

Re: Messages and VR goggles
We are already doing it but not everyone who is on the Condor server is on the same Discord/teamspeak channel. People like to talk in their own languages and it is hard to be on 2 different channels (the channel with your mates and the race channel) at the same time. I am not talking about long mess...

Re: Messages and VR goggles
It would be great if we could find a working voice to text solution. Then by pressing a button on a joystick we could activate condor chat and enable voice to text , then with another press of a button message could be sent in Condor and voice to text disactivated. The question is what software poss...

Re: New Meta Quest 3 VR Headset
I also wonder if my RTX2080TI will be able to run Qest 3. It runs Quest 2 at full resolution and 90Hz quite OK with MSAA supersampling x8.
