It is.
Now I know the site hasn't been hacked etc as it works on my work computer I'll allow it through ESET.
Wonder why it is being blocked?
It's not just the server list that's blocked, it is the whole lot! I cannot load www.condorsoaring.com even

Re: New PC - Condor blue screen
I do not have Win 11 so cannot help out there. I can't recall my exact issue regarding UAC. All I know is I ended up totally disabling it via my system registry. Doing something and then turning it back on. Not much help I'm afraid and it's annoying I can't recall the exact detail as I'll probably n...

Re: New PC - Condor blue screen
Have you checked the usuals? Google drive de-activated Anti-Virus. Set Condor folder as safe UAC - Set all folder permissions correctly etc. I'm sure in the early days I had to momentarily disable UAC to do something for my Condor folders before turning it back on Windows Defender - Condor all set a...

Re: Radio Tower and ATIS (?) frequencies
If you change that though and then fly online if you type no one else will see what you type, unless they're on the same radio frequency. Granted many use voice comms these days instead of typing messages, bar the good old CG for passing a TP or finishing a task.

Thanks Thierry, I thought that may have been the case. I'll continue to ask for FTRs to be uploaded

Multiplayer scoring tab - ballast restriction
Thierry. Please see the results on this task below https://www.condor.club/raceresults/0/?id=24023 Rene flew with full ballast though the task itself had a restriction set to 48kg/m. Should the multiplayer race results only show flights that meet the restrictions set by the task setter? in this case...

Re: Condor 3 landscape images
I did once try Condor VR with Oculus Rift. But had problems with the fact that I wear glasses all the time. I tried the VR both with and without the glasses. Niether were satisfactory for me. Although I know that you can get prescription lenses for VR. The final decider was experiencing nausea whil...

Re: Condor 3 landscape images
GTX 1070 is 13,500 on Passmark benchmark. I think you're safe. I ran a gpu with similar benchmark (RX5600 XT) on a 27" 1440p monitor in C2 without difficulty. I'd strongly recommend you put a little aside for a 1440p monitor, it's wonderful. After sampling what VR has to offer on my brothers comput...

Re: Condor 3 landscape images
EDB is also correct. 4K monitor or VR headset? That makes a difference Appreciate that. If I ever go VR I'll need a whole new PC  CPU is good to go still I think. It's an old i5 8600k (6 core) but running @ 5gHZ but chugs away still. System has 32gb of low CAS ram running highest XMP profile p...

Re: Condor 3 landscape images
I can wait for the final answer.
Overall though, based on what you've seen to date, do you think an old Nvidia 1070 with MSAA active be able to run C3 with maxed settings (it runs C2 without dipping below 60fps) or do I start putting a little aside each month for a newer GPU?

Re: AAT task compatibility
Correct. When you upload to CC you will select task type as AAT. It can be for speed or distance. All I've set are speed AAT tasks.
You manually tweak the TP radius in the FPL file to however big you want it.
Min time for task is set on the Condor Club website when you upload the FPL file.

Re: Stick fluttering
Firstly do you mean the stick in the glider in Condor or your physical joystick that you're using to control the glider? (If the latter I assume you have a force feedback joystick?) I'll assume the former for now. Is your joystick calibrating correctly? If I don't calibrate my joystick then the smal...

Re: AAT task compatibility
My question is not about Condor compatibility with AATs, but Condor Club . Unless they change Condor Club compatibility, it won't matter if you use Condor 2 or Condor 3 and try to upload a .ftr file to Condor Club from an AAT. John, the FTR would need something in it to signify the task is an AAT, ...

Min wing loadings
After some discussion earlier in another thread ref climb rates of gliders in Condor I took to checking out min wing loadings and min sink rates out of interest. I noticed something peculiar. For some gliders the min wing loading value differs on the 3d View tab to that on the settings tab, but not ...
