This sound like a corrupt landscape. Does this only happen in a certain scenery and not in the default slovenia landscape? If so, reinstall the scenery where this happens. I've got a feeling it only does it on landscape AA2 and I've only just updated that so it could be corrupted like you have sugg...

I think you've installed the patch as a full scenery. AA2.trn is not modified and thus isn't in the patch.
