Is there any way to check the thermal map?
For that, you just change the file type from .tdm to .raw (on a copy file of course), and you open it with photoshop (same size as your map, 1 channel, 8 bits/pixels, 8 bits header), then you rotate it by 180°.

Re: Ghost not in the same thermal

As soon as you alter anything (like the time) a new seed is generated and the thermals will be in different places. Actually no, shifting only the time setting does not change the weather. We get exactly the same thermals at the same time. And some other weather settings, like strength, also do not...

Re: C2 latitude longitude to TPPos conversion error

Using some flight plans created under C2 for the 0.5 FRN landscape, I'm able to compare TP position, TPPosx and TPPosy : 1- given in the .fpl file (generated by Condor2) 2- and those calculated by converting latitude longitude (.apt or .cup files). for some airport the error rise to 20 meters which...

Re: How to edit a landscape

You can edit your own AA2 on your computer by unzipping this file in the AA2 directory: AA2-Isny.zip But you must be aware that your scenery will no longer be compatible for online flights . A patch is coming, with a lot of corrected forest, textures and elevation tiles, including Isny, it has been ...

Re: Thermal Map Value precision

The tdm file is an 8bits grey scale map, with a 4bits (16 levels) its size would be divided by two, but as it represents only 1/1000th of the global scenery size, the gain would not be so great...

I realize that is not possible to correct the error in the scenery database.
You can and that's very easy in LE, but your scenery will no longer be compatible for online flights.

Re: QFE/AGL does't work in Voghrera airport (Arc Alipn 2)

There is an error in the airfield altitude of Voghera, it is set to 0. As far as I know, there are no other consequences than this QFE problem, and the error has been unnoticed. Be careful with the general QFE setting in Condor, there may be other errors in airports altitude. The only reliable metho...

Re: Scenery calibration range issue

Since Condor2, calibration is not a matter of approximation. It is totally defined by the chosen UTM zone and the coordinates of the origin point. There is no need for dimensional scaling. This is perfectly described in JBR manual. All the sceneries for Condor2 are now perfectly calibrated, the use ...

Re: Scenery calibration range issue

GarnerGP-2 took 25 minutes to convert... ...that's what calibration is for... Sorry but no! The fact that the objects and airfields are in a correct relative position inside the scenery does not mean that there is no error. And producing a (very) poor quality scenery like that (but properly calibra...

Re: Scenery calibration range issue

The V2 'Landscape Editor' has no trouble with the calibration (with DeltaX -74) and shows the airports and all objects in the right locations. So it is only an issue with Condor V2 itself. It's not a Condor issue, that scenery suffers from a massive decalibration problem, with E-W distances wrong b...
